Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg congregation knew they could not return to the past. Ashley was 17 years old and hadn't had any type of romantic relationship and went through everything slowly. However, it was true love at first sight. Andrew was praying to God at New Year's Day just as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew requested God for one final favor this year, which was that Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley wanted to have the wedding with a rustic, folk theme which reflected her as well as Andrew. The couple incorporated a bit of everything they loved to create the wedding day. The location was the 40 acres back of land Ashley has grown up on. Ashley played and explored every inch of the property, which included the trails they had walked to get there. Andrew, Ashley and their acquaintances had walked through the area many time when they began dating. The bride and groom took on the bulk of the DIY work, so personalization is important. Ashley painted and made a lot of the decorations. Andrew and Ashley's father made the seating and ceremony arch. Ashley claims that we might never have the amazing wedding I envisioned if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Absolutely stunning.
